Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

At Habitat Verre, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not entirely satisfied with your product, you may return it within 30 days of the purchase date, in its original condition and packaging, for an exchange, refund or online credit on habitatverre.ca.

General conditions

  • The product must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
  • Prior authorization is mandatory before any return.
  • Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, except in the case of a defective product or an error on our part.
  • Damaged packaging or products received upon return may result in additional fees or refusal of the refund.

Restocking fee

A restocking fee of 20% of the sale value applies to any return of tempered glass panels.

Exclusions — non-returnable products

The following products cannot be returned:

  • Products that are cut, modified or customized in any way.
  • Special order products, including but not limited to:
    • Sol Pergolas pergolas and shade fabrics (Orana, Zena, Amara collections and accessories);
    • GSQ / EZfence / EZdeck products (privacy panels, composite boards, grooved posts and fencing accessories).
  • Gift cards, gift certificates and online credits (not exchangeable for cash).
  • Services (consultation, measurement, layout planning, installation).

For these products, any return or adjustment request must be subject to a prior discussion with our team and remains at Habitat Verre's sole discretion.

Non-refundable pickup fees

Pickup fees at our drop-off points (Québec, Montréal, Ottawa) are non-refundable in case of return or order cancellation, regardless of the reason.

Defective products

If you receive a defective product, contact us within 10 days of delivery. Habitat Verre will then cover the return shipping cost and proceed with replacement or full refund. The legal warranty applies where applicable.

How to initiate a return

Any return or exchange request must be made before sending the merchandise back:

A member of our team will confirm the procedure, the return address and the terms. No return will be accepted without prior authorization.

Refund timeline

Once the return is received and inspected, the refund is processed within 5 to 10 business days, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Reservation of rights

Notwithstanding this policy, Habitat Verre Inc. reserves the right to limit or refuse the return of any merchandise for any reason whatsoever. This policy may be modified at any time without prior notice.
